Begin Your Journey

Our adventure starts with two nights in Kovalam, followed by two nights in Varkala. Both destinations hold a special place in my heart. I spent my very first night in India at Kovalam Beach, on New Year’s Eve 2000!
These charming coastal towns offer stunning beaches, lively markets, cafes and a gentle introduction to India’s vibrant culture.
We’ll also visit the ashram of Amma, the ‘Hugging Saint,’ for another truly memorable experience, then continuing up the coast to Alleppy for 1 night and a boat trip along the backwaters.

 

A Retreat to Remember

The journey culminates with six nights at the peaceful Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat Centre. This serene haven blends Yoga and Ayurveda to nourish your body, mind, and soul. Set in tranquil gardens, it boasts breathtaking views – perfect for walking and enjoying the nature.

 

What to Expect

Together with my partners in India, Shibu and Akhilash, we are curating an itinerary to immerse you in the magic of these remarkable locations. Expect enriching yoga sessions, relaxing Ayurvedic treatments, and plenty of opportunities for self-discovery. You’ll also enjoy delicious, freshly prepared vegetarian meals that nourish your body and delight your taste buds.

Comfortable Accommodation & Delicious Food
Accommodation:

  • Tour: We will stay in very comfortable hotels with en-suite rooms and breakfast included.
  • Retreat: At the retreat centre, you’ll stay in simple, comfortable en-suite rooms with views to the garden and water.

Meals:

  • Tour: Breakfast is included. You choose and pay for your lunch and dinner from local menus.
  • Retreat: During the retreat, you’ll savour 3 healthy vegetarian meals daily, plus bottled and mineral water.

Daily Yoga Sessions

While on the tour, yoga will fit around trips and travelling. During the retreat, you’ll enjoy early morning and evening Yoga sessions
 in a dedicated Yoga Shala, with one rest day mid-retreat. These classes, suitable for all levels, may include āsana, prānāyāma, trataka, meditation, and discussions.

Convenient Travel & Pricing
Travel:

We will fly together from Gatwick to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Kerala, (near Kovalam), and return home from Kochi International Airport, (near our retreat venue). To make your journey seamless, all transfers are arranged and included. The tour is carefully designed so there is not too much driving from one location to the next.

Pricing:

  • Shared Room: £1540
  • Single Room Supplement: £330
  • Earlybird discount of the above price of  £150 if deposit and signed booking form is received by April 30th 2025
  • Discount of £100 if you’re not doing yoga, but sharing a room with someone who is

What’s Included:

  • 5 nights in comfortable hotels (tour), with breakfast
  • 6 nights at the retreat with all meals included
  • All transfers during the tour in a comfortable private bus and airport transfers
  • All Yoga classes, Ayurveda consultation with a doctor and daily massages on retreat

  • Flights, lunch & dinner on the tour, insurance, eVisa (Ensure 6 months validity on your passport)
